Moving is stressful, there are many moving parts to bring together and hidden costs, not to mention it all needs to happen in a relatively short period of time. Energy is not always a key priority and is often considered late in the moving journey. There are also preconceptions that it takes a lot of time and effort to arrange. Customers want peace of mind that their power will be on the day they move into their new property and it will be a seamless process.

AGL wanted to develop a hard working middle funnel asset that drives awareness of their bundle product offering specifically focussing on people who are looking to move home. Their Single Minded Message needed to be simple yet effective: AGL makes moving home an effortless experience and gets customers moved into their new home quickly and easily.

MSQUARE proposed the idea “Take The Drama Out Of Your Move” – a concept that lives up to its name. The narrative is simple yet unexpected, featuring a husband and wife in the process of moving into their new home... but instead of being burdened by the stress, they make time to enjoy the process. They’re able to do this with AGL’s help, by moving into an empty home that already has power and internet. The film would be brief yet punchy, unexpected and memorable, delivering AGL’s key messaging without feeling forceful. The camera movement would be controlled via a dolly system, creating a sense of cinematic energy. The sound design and score would be a major audial component to drive the visuals forward, accentuating each moment that leads up to the climactic final reveal. The goal is to provide audiences with a captivating experience that creates genuine enthusiasm and desire to learn more about AGL’s energy and internet options. So why not go epic?
